When you’ve set sail on Royal Caribbean’s Oasis Class ships, you may never feel quite the same about your leafy neighborhood nook back home. With more than 10,000 plants and flowers, Central Park is a tropical nature sanctuary at the heart of the ship, and it comes with incredible places to grab a bite to eat or enjoy a cocktail. From sunrise to sunset, there’s always something to see, do, or eat in this tranquil area, which is one of seven distinct neighborhoods on board Royal Caribbean ships.
Morning: Walk through and learn about this one-of-a-kind park’s flora from the experts—our ships’ dedicated horticulturists. There are 100-plus species of plants to discover, as well as 2,200 sub-tropical species on the park’s Living Walls.
Noon: Grab lunch at the perfect spot, Park Café. The Kummelweck sandwich is a must-order and a Royal Caribbean signature menu item, with special slow-cooked beef, au jus, and the chef’s own secret sauce.
Afternoon Stroll: You needn’t be exploring the moon to strap on an Omega Speedmaster, or a Hublot or Cartier watch—just the shop in Central Park.
Happy hour: Have your pick of light tapas and a glass of wine at Vintages. With hundreds of first-class labels to choose from, this low-key wine bar is the best place to enjoy twilight on your own or with friends and family.
Evening: There are three specialty dining venues open to serve you a mouthwatering dinner. Whether it’s a classic, delectable steak from Chops Grille; seasonal farm-to-table cuisine at 150 Central Park, or tasty and simple Italian favorites from Jamie’s Italian, the restaurant of award-winning Chef Jamie Oliver, you and your taste buds can’t go wrong.
Nightcap: If you’re looking for a nightcap, find your spot at the Rising Tide bar. Sip on a signature cocktail as the moving bar ascends and descends from Central Park (deck 8) to the Royal Promenade (deck 5). This is the perfect way to close out your day.
